木下恵介（1960〜）は、版画を中心に活動する画家です。エッチング、リトグラフ、モノタイプ、油彩など多彩な表現方法を用い、風景や自然、静物を題材にしながら、具象から抽象へと幅広い表現を展開しています。線の配置や色の重なりを通じて、見る側が画面の奥行きや手触りを追えるよう、丁寧に画面を組み立てる作風が特徴です。

1960年、福岡県に生まれた木下は、東京藝術大学大学院を修了しました。在学中の1984年から継続的に日本版画協会展に出品し、奨励賞や準会員賞を受賞しています。1992年から武蔵野美術大学で非常勤講師を務め、2001年から2002年には文化庁在外研修員としてアイルランドで制作しました。ヴァルナ国際版画ビエンナーレやアルゼンチン・リトグラフ展など、海外の展覧会にも積極的に出品しています。

代表作には、エッチングと木版を組み合わせた『白い道』（1993年）、線を主体とした『Marks - Lines - 5.0.3』（1999年）、銅版画とリトグラフの『Black Tulips』（2011年）などがあります。1990年代の風景・静物から、線を核とした抽象へ、そして2010年代以降のリトグラフや油彩へと、素材と構成の関係を試し続けています。

「GALLERY TAGA 2」では個展「木の集合と色彩」（2025年）をはじめ、いくつかの作品が継続的に紹介されています。滋賀県立近代美術館、アルゼンチン国立版画美術館、東京藝術大学資料館などにも作品が所蔵されています。

Keisuke KINOSHITA (1960–) is a painter who works primarily in printmaking. Using etching, lithography, monotype, oil painting, and other techniques, he has ranged from representation to abstraction while taking landscapes, nature, and still life as his subjects. A hallmark of his work is the careful construction of each image through the placement of lines and layered color, inviting viewers to follow depth and surface across the picture plane.

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1960, Kinoshita completed the graduate program at Tokyo University of the Arts. From 1984, while still a student, he showed regularly at the Japan Print Association Exhibition and received encouragement and associate-member awards. From 1992 he taught as a part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University, and from 2001 to 2002 he worked in Ireland as an overseas research fellow of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. He has also shown actively abroad, including at the Varna International Print Biennial and the Argentina Lithograph Exhibition.

Among his key works are "White Path" (1993), combining etching and woodblock; "Marks - Lines - 5.0.3" (1999), centered on line; and "Black Tulips" (2011), in copperplate etching and lithography. From landscapes and still lifes in the 1990s through line-based abstraction and, from the 2010s onward, lithography and oil painting, he has continued to test the relationship between materials and composition.

At GALLERY TAGA 2, several of his works have been presented on an ongoing basis, including the solo exhibition "Gatherings of Trees and Color" (2025). His work is also held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art, Shiga; the National Print Museum of Argentina; and the Tokyo University of the Arts Archives.
